The Schectman Family

Meet the team: Chaya, Arik, Rochel Leah, Chana, Yonah, Shaina, and Dina coached by their parents Tzvi & Sarah. Coming from Metro Detroit, the Schectman's worked with families and development at Friendship Circle, a non-profit organization providing programming and support to children with special needs and their families. Sarah is a native of South Africa and Tzvi is from Milwaukee and a fervent Cheesehead. We look forward to meeting you!

What Is Chabad?

Under the Leadership and guidance of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, Chabad of White Marsh is part of the worldwide Chabad Lubavitch movement. The word Lubavitch is the name of the town in White Russia where the movement was based for more than a century. Appropriately, in Russian, the word Lubavitch means “city of brotherly love.” The name Lubavitch conveys the essence of the responsibility and love engendered by the Chabad philosophy toward every single Jew. Chabad of White Marsh is part of more than 3,500 outreach and educational centers serving world Jewry and the broader community. Learn more about Chabad Lubavitch.
